Our 2019 pantomime, Aladdin, needs chaperones urgently if is to go ahead as planned. We have 12 performances between the 15th and 20th December and the 27th December and 1st January, plus dress runs on Tuesday, 10th and Wednesday, 11th December and a full-dress rehearsal on Friday, 13th December, and there are still many slots to fill.
If you have a current chaperone licence or an up-to-date DBS check and can spare a couple of hours on any of the performance dates – afternoons or evenings – to help look after the younger members of our cast, please contact the show’s director, Mike Darbon, on 07802 914917 or email him at email@example.com. Details can be found here.
If you are interested in becoming a chaperone for this or future shows at Beckenham Theatre, or elsewhere, then regular courses are run by Bromley Council. Please go to their website for details and consider applying especially if you have children who are already members of our children’s or youth theatres, have appeared in any of our shows or are considering joining the children’s or youth sections in the future. If you have previously held a chaperone’s licence and have had a break from chaperoning, please think about renewing your licence.
Aladdin only needs one licensed chaperone per performance, as long as they as supported by a responsible DBS-checked adult.
Your support in helping us with our shows in this important way will be much appreciated.
